Acromioplasty

Acromioplasty

Acromioplasty at Taara Ortho Care is a minimally invasive shoulder procedure used to treat shoulder impingement and related pain by reshaping or removing a small portion of the acromion bone to create more space for the rotator cuff tendons.

The procedure may be considered for patients with persistent shoulder pain, restricted movement or rotator cuff irritation when non-surgical treatments have not provided adequate improvement. After a detailed evaluation, our orthopaedic specialist determines whether arthroscopic acromioplasty is appropriate and may combine it with other procedures when required.
