He secured Rank 299 in the entrance examination and completed both his MBBS and M.S. Orthopaedics through counselling-category seats at PSIMS, Chinna Avutapalli, Gannavaram.

After completing his M.S. Orthopaedics, Dr. Mahesh served in Government Hospital, Vijayawada, where he gained valuable experience in managing orthopaedic and trauma cases.
